It's very sad the shop is going to move
Outstanding. One of a kinda. The heart of distilled rice.
We took on 10 different challenges with detailed explanations.
We had a great time.
There were so many types of sake I wanted to buy that I couldn't decide.
I would like to visit you again!
The tables and chairs sucked. Considering that they are about to move, I'll tolerate that.
Sake Food pairing is surprisingly rare, even for HK. I loved how each and every sake was presented in detail, even though I could pick up the details less and less every sip I took. I highly recommend if you like sake !
Popped in for a quick sake before dinner. Really liked the classy yet cosy vibe. The sake selection is on point, offering a high quality yet affordable price range. The standing and seating area makes it quite easy to sit, perch or roam …
As a sake sommelier I wish I could give this place 6 stars since it has the most perfect sake/food pairings I've had anywhere, including Japan. Food is great but consider it a premium sake bar with omakase pairing. When I went they had midweek discounts Tues-Thurs which are excellent value but check the website in case that changes.
Absolutely a good place to pick a fresh and unique sake, and you may enjoy a good weekend afternoon by joining the sake tasting session. Drink a bit and hang around in the heritage conservative shopping site as it was a married civil servant accommodation during the colonial period.
